The Oniworo of Iworo Kingdom, Oba Oladele Kosoko, and some groups in Lagos State have asked natives and residents of Iru Land to support the new traditional ruler, Oba Abdulwasiu Lawal, Abisogun II.
They said cooperation would engender peace and progress in the community.
Kosoko, in a statement on Tuesday, congratulated the new Oniru on his enthronement as the 15th occupant of the stool.
“He noted that Lawal’s installation is a confirmation of his good character, leadership skills, commitment, performance, humility, and sincerity to the state,” the statement added.
Also, the Eti-Osa Indigene Forum and the Association of Baales-in-Council in Eti Osa East Local Council Development Area, prayed that God would grant Lawal knowledge, wisdom and understanding to pilot the affairs of his kingdom.
The University of Port- Harcourt, Lagos State chapter, in a letter signed by leaders of the group, prayed for good health for the Oniru.
